From the director of Iron Man 3? ....really? That's how you're first piece of marketing begins? I would've gone with "From the actor that played Hawkins in the original Predator".
I like the juxtaposition of the boy playing with his toy and the Predator ship crashing on Earth. So this kid reads popular mechanics.....mmmmkay >.>
So this predator ship crashes in nowheresville, home town, USA and has a very Spielbergian look to it. I'm having horrible recurring memories of AVP: Requiem......
And Oliva Munn works as some sort of medical type there along with prince Adam (He Man) who happens to be an assassin along with Keegan-Michael Key....kay.
OK so what it looks like from this trailer the Predator was driving drunk and crashes on earth, loses his hit then goes looking for it in. Blondie finds it and mails it to his son in tiny town USA where he lives with his mommy (Olivia Munn) and she is able to determine this alien has been planet hoping and upgrading his shiz.
So what is an alien gonna find on earth that his own civilization (that can travel in space) doesn't have?
Shane Black does have an impressive resume but this doesn't seem that good.
