SWatH Extended Trailer

More SwatH goodness

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Cinematic Trailer

Me Grimlock smash Bruticus! The first Transformers game from High Moon Studio's was pretty good, I still haven't completed it but I will eventually get back to it. Maybe I'll do a WfC then FoC  marathon once Fall of Cybertron comes out.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron transports you to the final days of the planet Cybertron where you will experience the darkest hours of the apocalyptic war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Embark on an adrenaline-fueled journey through a wide range of missions and massive environments designed around each character's unique abilities. With the stakes higher than ever before, you play as a variety of Transformers, including Grimlock's nearly indestructible T-Rex form and the legendary Combaticons forming into the colossal Bruticus. Fight through both sides of the Transformers' most epic battles leading to their legendary exodus from their homeworld. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron allows you to go head-to-head as Autobots and Decepticons with its multi-player online mode. Create your own personalized character and weaponry with the most advanced and in-depth customization never ever before seen in a Transformers video game.

Fringe S4 E15: A Short Story About Love

I've been a fan of fringe since the first season, I have enjoyed almost every episode to to some extent. some skirt the border of mediocre and some elevate the show to such lofty heights....last nights episode truly disappointed, the weekly case du jour was weak sauce and just when things started getting interesting with Peter tracking the mysterious pod/drill last seen in season one, September pulls an Princess Leia holo message moment and tells Peter
He has been in his universe the whole time
and
love is what kept him from being completely erased from existance
.
It felt like such a total cop out and all the tension and drama culminating from the start of the season was all for naught. I waited 3 weeks while Fringe was on hiatus for THAT!? Worst episode of the entire series and next weeks preview did nothing to regain my interest, looks like the fringe team is tracking down a reject from the TMNT movies...

ME3 Operation Fortress N7 Challenge

Starting yesterday Bioware began their version of a double XP weekend. Operation Fortress N7 Challenge began at 8pm EST last night and runs thru till 8am EST Monday. Players on all consoles...PS3 included, will earn a 25% bonus on top of the XP earn for surviving the 11 waves of enemies. I  reached lvl 20 and got the Peak Condition trophy Thursday, so I'm not sure if there's a point to continuing with my lvl 20 human male engineer or if I should start working on another class/race..

SWatH Wondercon Trailer

Here's the second trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman. Regardless of my feelings on the casting of Snow White, I think Kirsten needs this movie, and she needs to really knock her performance out of the park to shed the twilight stigma alot of people have when they see her.
Charlize as the Witch Queen Malphas is perfect and will definately sell tickets to people who might not normally consider watching a movie about Snow White. The creature effects look very good...when I saw the first trailer I thought it was a Guillermo Del Toro movie.

Getting High While Camping in the Woods....

I enjoy camping, I've been camping since I was a kid, I've camped on small islands in the Long Island sound, along the Delaware river and when I can't get away I've even backyard camped. My friend Krogenar from Buried Planet is also into camping and we try and go at least once a year....although it's been a few since we've gotten together...
The last time I went camping with him he brought what could only be described as a  hammock-tent, it was suspended in the air from two trees and he had to crawl up into it...but seeing him get out of it was one of the more disturbing things I've seen in my life. Try to imagine an adult male lowering himself out of a cocoon-like sack suspended in the air as the smoke from the embers of our campfire from the night before clouded my vision! All that was needed was afterbirth and tenticles and I would've been in Hentai Hell!
Anyway I stumbled upon this image today and it brought me back to that camping trip
This tent is constructed by Tentsile (ha clever name) and as someone who's gone camping and gotten stuck in torrential downpours I can attest that trying to pack up a soaking wet muddy tent while the winds are trying to turn your tent into a parachute and your slipping around in the mud sucks....watching the ladies slipping in the mud doesn't suck as much.
Here is why you gots to git one of dees;

"Tentsile combines the comfort and versatility of a hammock with the usable space and security of a tent. The ultra portable structure uniquely employs tension forces to provide separation from wildlife, including insects, snakes and other predators but also from sand storms, earth tremors, cold or wet ground, debris or contamination."

Personally I thought camping was about getting closer to nature and wildlife, I can understand wanting to avoid getting bit by a snake or mauled by a bear or mountain lion...but if ol smokey smells you got habenero flavored Doritos and twizzlers up there he's gonna get em regardless if you're 3feet or 10 feet off the ground.
And if you're concerned about earth tremors and sandstorms...LMAO....maybe look elsewhere to go camping.
If you like tree houses and camping and always wished you could camp in a tree house here's your tent!

OMG hammockception! A hammock in a hammock!

My PS3 HDD upgrade story.

I finally upgraded my PS3's HDD last night! I bought a Western Digital Scorpio Blue 500GB 2.5 inch SATA drive (5400RPM not 7400RPM) and a 2TB Western Digital My Book external HDD.
The first step to upgrading your PS3 is to convert the file system on the external HDD from NTFS to Fat32 this process takes all of 60 seconds and then when you can connect it to your PS3 it will recognized it.
Once connected go to System Settings on the XMB then to the Back Up Utility, the back up took aprox 3 hours for a full 80gb using a USB 3.0 cable.
Once done you can remove the original PS3 HDD and swap in the new 2.5 inch SATA HDD (be sure it's 5400 RPM not faster).

Once you have installed the new HDD you can restore all the data from the external! That took a little over 2 hours and when it was done everything was there, pictures, movies, music, game saves/data/trophies etc.
Once I was done I had almost 400 GB free space so I finally DL'd my 2 free games from last years Welcome Back program inFamous and LBP as well as the Sly collection, RDR Undead Nightmare. I also recently picked up SSX, ME3 and Hyper Dimension Neptunia. I also have borrowed Bioshock, CoD BO, KZ2, and R2 from friends so I have my hands full!
